UNDERGROUND SURVEYING

CCTV Drainage Survey

Our specialist teams can undertake a CCTV drainage survey to provide you with a full visual inspection and conditional report alongside other survey data.

All our cctv surveys for drains use advanced remote visual inspection (RVI) technology to deliver high-definition imagery below ground, underwater and within pipework, voids and confined spaces. This detailed drain survey will include the manual lifting of every inspection chamber or manhole cover, including locating the chambers if required, recording the depth of the invert, the pipework diameter and type of drainage system including the construction of the chamber. The results are then overlaid onto the topographical survey of the site prior to issuing, with all risks clearly categorised.

The CCTV drainage survey will normally be carried out alongside underground survey activities and a topographical survey of the site, or we can work from existing site surveys.

How can I deal with my drainage issues?

Many of our clients opt for a full-length CCTV drainage survey to mitigate potential issues as early into the project as possible, including the specific condition of each pipe, identifying any structural defects, root ingress, cracks and blockages. Should our technical report highlight any significant issues such as blockages, our team will carry out sewer maintenance with high pressure jetting to the areas of concern with the aim of restoring the entire drainage network to its fully functioning capacity.

Our full range of underground and utilities services are listed below.

Underground Surveying Services

Location and tracing of underground utilities and buried services. Available as a standalone survey or as part of an integrated topographical or measured building survey.

To provide a full understanding of below ground site conditions and to confirm evidence of previous site use. Essential to complete prior to excavations, drilling, piling and many other construction processes.

Full range of high-pressure drainage solutions undertaken as a separate exercise or as part of a full CCTV condition survey and assessment.

Location and confirmation of the layout of structural reinforcement. A fast and efficient method of identifying voids in a variety of applications.

Permanent identification of underground services assets to complement your utility survey. Effective and clear marking of the purpose of each inspection chamber.

Our geophysical surveys utilise non-invasive, high volume data capturing instruments, providing our clients with maximum data whilst maintaining minimal time and disturbance on site.
