What the certification means
Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture. The certification is based on direct feedback from employees and a detailed review of the company’s values, practices and people experience. It recognises the organisations that are genuinely building trust, fairness and collaboration into their culture.
Why this matters
Our employee engagement scores have been improving year after year. We’ve had great feedback through our own internal surveys, and through conversations with both new and long-standing team members. Until now, we hadn’t formalised that progress through an external accreditation. That’s now changed.
We’ve been acting on feedback for some time, introducing new benefits, running employee workshops, and making changes that genuinely improve how it feels to work here. It’s helped us attract brilliant people and keep making Survey Solutions a place where good people want to stay and do their best work.

- 97% strongly agreed that people are treated fairly regardless of their race.
- 96% strongly agreed that people are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation.
- 92% strongly agreed that people are treated fairly regardless of their gender.
- 88% strongly agreed that when people join the company, they are made to feel welcome
- 87% of people strongly agreed this is a physically safe place to work
These scores reflect the emphasis we place on inclusion and wellbeing across our business. We know that when people feel supported, they perform at their best, so we invest in the whole person, not just the job they do. In fact, 90% of our people said they feel able to take time off work when they need to. Our wellbeing offer includes access to a free helpline, flexible holidays and hours, structured counselling, and trained mental health first aiders across the business.
Encouragingly, our strong results around physical safety are especially meaningful given the environments we work in. They’re a credit to the ongoing investment we make in health and safety culture, from regular internal workshops to practical incentives like our ‘Near Miss of the Month’ recognition.

What’s next
In September, we’ll find out whether we’ve been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Construction, Engineering and Property 2025. Being shortlisted would be a brilliant next step and further recognition of everything our teams have helped build.
