Survey Solutions is Shortlisted for Inspiring Workplaces Awards 2026

Published on by Toni Abrahams

We’re proud to share that Survey Solutions has been shortlisted for the Inspiring Workplaces Awards London 2026. A global programme that recognises organisations putting people at the heart of their strategy and creating environments where individuals can truly thrive. This recognition reflects the progress we’ve made in building a workplace where purpose, leadership and employee experience are fully aligned, and where our people are central to our success.

Our purpose is to provide engineering certainty through reliable, high-quality and timely geo-data solutions, enabling a safer, smarter and more sustainable world. This purpose is not a statement that sits separately from the business; it shapes decisions across every part of the organisation. Our strategy is built around People, Platform, Sales Engine and Innovation, ensures that growth is structured and intentional. It gives our teams clarity on what success looks like and aligns everyone toward delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for both our people and our clients.

Leadership That Builds Trust and Transparency

Leadership plays a central role in shaping our culture. Our leadership approach is built on visibility, credibility and openness, as leaders actively engage with teams across the business, sharing performance, priorities and progress, while creating space for feedback and discussion.

Monthly company-wide meetings have become a key part of how we maintain transparency, strengthen alignment and ensure everyone feels connected to the direction of the business. This approach has helped build a culture of trust where people feel empowered and supported to perform at their best.

Open leadership has helped create a culture where people feel trusted, supported and empowered to do their best work.

Wellbeing Embedded into the Workplace

Wellbeing is treated as a fundamental part of performance here at Survey Solutions, particularly in a field-based, project-driven environment.

Our approach supports mental, physical and financial wellbeing through structured management conversations, access to professional support, strong health and safety practices, and enhanced employee benefits.

Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Culture

Inclusion at Survey Solutions is built through consistent behaviours and fair processes. From recruitment through to development and progression, we focus on creating equal opportunities for all.

When people join the business, they are welcomed into a supportive environment from day one, helping them quickly feel connected to both their role and the wider organisation. This has contributed to a culture where people feel confident to share ideas and contribute fully.

Listening to Our People and Acting on Feedback

Employee voice is a key driver of continuous improvement. Our engagement survey participation has increased significantly in recent years, which is a reflection on how trust has developed from the feedback, and how it is used.

We share results openly and take clear action, leading to improvements in areas such as performance management, learning and development, IT support and employee recognition. Feedback has also strengthened how we share client insights with teams, helping employees better understand the impact of their work.

Investing in Employee Experience and Development

We’ve designed our employee experience to support long-term careers. From structured onboarding to coaching-led management and continuous learning opportunities, we focus on helping our people grow and succeed.

Investment in technology and systems has also improved day-to-day experience, enabling our teams to focus on delivering technical excellence while reducing administrative burden.

Delivering Measurable Impact

Our people-first approach is delivering clear results as our employee retention has improved significantly, along with increased engagement and motivation scores, and our Great Place to Work certification.

These outcomes demonstrate that investing in our people directly supports both performance and long-term success.

Looking Ahead

Being shortlisted for the Inspiring Workplaces Awards 2026 is an important milestone, but it’s only part of our journey. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on strengthening our culture, developing our people and ensuring our workplace continues to evolve. Listening to our employees and acting on their feedback will remain central to everything we do.

We’re incredibly proud of this recognition, but even more proud of the people who make Survey Solutions an inspiring place to work every day.

We’re incredibly proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Inspiring Workplaces UK Awards. The awards recognise organisations that put their people first—building cultures of trust, purpose and belonging where everyone feels empowered to thrive. It was important to us to apply for an award that so closely aligns with our priorities as a business and as a people team. The emphasis on inclusion, wellbeing, meaningful employee experience and strong people leadership reflects what we work hard to embed across our organisation. We’re committed to continuously strengthening an environment where talented people can grow their careers and do their best work. As the world of work evolves, we listen closely to feedback from our colleagues and use it to drive meaningful improvements. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we remain dedicated to investing in their development, wellbeing and overall experience. I’ve had the privilege of seeing colleagues grow and progress in their careers, and this recognition reflects the culture we’ve built to support that. Being recognised by an independent panel of expert judges makes this especially meaningful, and it provides external validation that our people initiatives are making an impact and are benchmarked against leading organisations. I’m incredibly proud of this recognition. This achievement is a testament to our people and the culture we’re building to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and inspired to succeed.
