Coordinated Surveys for Power Sites Nationwide
Survey Solutions delivered a comprehensive programme of surveys for power sites across 20 ScottishPower operational locations, supporting CBRE’s Local Services Division with rapid mobilisation and consistently high-quality outputs.
Following a SEPA audit, ScottishPower launched a nationwide initiative to rebuild containment bunds surrounding transformer storage areas. The affected sites spanned regions across Scotland, the North West, and North Wales. CBRE appointed Survey Solutions to provide full survey support, capitalising on our status as an approved supplier and a history of successful project delivery.
Our scope of work included:
- Topographic surveys to inform bund redesigns, capturing precise site levels, features, and ground conditions
- CCTV drainage condition surveys to identify structural issues, assess risk, and recommend remedial action
- Creation of 3D Revit models for four major depots undergoing substantial refurbishment

Project coordination from our Glasgow office allowed us to efficiently deploy and manage multiple field teams across the UK. Each team applied consistent methodologies and utilised uniform tools and equipment to ensure a standardised deliverable—delivered on time and right the first time.
