We are thrilled to present Survey Solutions’ inaugural ESG Impact Report. At Survey Solutions, we believe that businesses have a vital role to play in shaping a sustainable future. That’s why we’re proud to present our first-ever Impact Report. This report not only highlights our achievements but also sets the stage for our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) credentials.

Why the Impact Report Matters

The report is more than just a set of guidelines—it’s a roadmap for creating long-term value whilst addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges. From reducing carbon emissions to fostering diversity and inclusion, our initiatives are designed to make a meaningful impact. This report captures our progress, challenges, and future goals, demonstrating our dedication to transparency and accountability.

Key Highlights from the Report

1. Environmental Stewardship: Leading the Way to Net Zero

One of our most ambitious goals is achieving Net Zero by 2045. Here’s how we’re looking to make it happen:

  • We’ve set a clear glidepath to reduce emissions by 97% by 2045, starting with a 16% reduction by 2025
  • Accounting for 45.4% of our carbon footprint, we’re transitioning to hybrid and electric vehicles, with 42 hybrid vehicles now in our fleet
  • We’re optimising energy consumption across our offices and projects, with plans to increase renewable energy procurement

2. Social Responsibility: Empowering Our People and Communities

Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. Here’s how we’re supporting them:

  • Employee Development: 34 employees received CICES-approved training, and we promoted 48 team members internally in FY2024.
  • Wellbeing Initiatives: We’ve introduced Mental Health First Aiders and comprehensive wellbeing policies to support our team’s physical and mental health.
  • Community Engagement: From sponsoring local sports teams to participating in career events, we’re proud to give back to the communities we serve.

3. Governance: Upholding the Highest Standards

Strong governance is the backbone of our strategy. We’re proud to hold several international accreditations, including:

  • ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
  • ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
  • ISO 27001 (Information Security)
  • ISO 45001 (Health and Safety)

These certifications highlight our commitment to ethical business practices, data security, and workplace safety.

Supporting Silverstone’s Net Zero Journey

We partnered with Silverstone to help them achieve their goal of becoming Net Zero by 2030. Our team used advanced drone technology and laser scanning to map the racetrack and design the placement of over 1,300 solar panels. This project not only reduced Silverstone’s carbon footprint but also showcased how geospatial engineering can drive sustainability.
