We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Site-Eye, a leading UK construction time-lapse camera specialist. This acquisition represents another significant milestone in our continued growth strategy, by expanding the range of monitoring services available to our clients.

Bringing Site-Eye into the Survey Solutions group strengthens our ability to deliver comprehensive construction monitoring solutions that support projects from planning through to completion.

Expanding Our Construction Monitoring Offering

Over the past 24 years, Site-Eye has earned a strong reputation for high-quality construction time-lapse cameras, filming and media production services across the UK. This complements our existing monitoring portfolio by creating a broader, integrated service offering for clients in infrastructure, utilities, commercial development, residential construction and the wider built environment.

With Site-Eye, our clients can access industry-leading time-lapse video, alongside our established expertise in structural, geotechnical, noise, dust and vibration monitoring, and full range of engineering survey services.

Combining visual project documentation with accurate survey and monitoring data, clients can benefit from improved project visibility, enhanced stakeholder engagement and complete understanding of construction progress throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuing Our Growth Strategy

This acquisition marks the third company to join the Survey Solutions group since the management buyout in December 2023, which was backed by private equity firm WestBridge.

Since then, our business has continued to invest in expanding both its geographical reach and technical capabilities through the acquisition of rail, highway survey and monitoring specialist JWG Survey & Engineering in October 2024, followed by power and water utility feasibility specialist SurvaTec in March 2025.

Currently we operate from 14 regional offices across the UK, and employ more than 250 people, with the majority being surveyors and monitoring technicians.

A Shared Commitment To Quality

As part of the acquisition, Site-Eye Managing Director Gareth Evans-McClave will remain with the business, ensuring continuity for clients while helping to drive the continued development of our construction monitoring services.

Commenting on the acquisition, Gareth Evans-McClave said:

“We’ve built a fantastic reputation over the past 24 years by delivering high-quality time-lapse and construction monitoring services to clients across the UK. Joining Survey Solutions is an exciting opportunity for our business, our team and our clients, enabling us to build on that success while becoming part of a larger group that shares our commitment to quality and customer service.”

David Lowe, CEO of Survey Solutions, added:

“Site-Eye is a well-established business with an excellent reputation and highly complementary expertise. This acquisition further strengthens our construction monitoring capabilities and enables us to offer our clients an even broader range of services. We look forward to welcoming Gareth and the team to Survey Solutions as we continue to grow our business and deliver market-leading survey and monitoring solutions across the UK.”

Supporting Projects With Engineering Certainty

The acquisition reinforces our commitment to providing clients with the high-quality survey and monitoring information they need to make informed decisions confidently throughout the lifecycle of their projects.

Our expanded service offering enables clients to access trusted expertise through a single nationwide provider. We look forward to welcoming the Site-Eye team to Survey Solutions, while continuing to invest in innovative technologies and specialist expertise that help deliver safer, smarter and more successful construction projects across the UK.
