Survey Solutions delivered sub-station elevation surveys for Electricity North West, enabling detailed planning and reducing operational uncertainty across key infrastructure.
Supporting Critical Infrastructure with Sub-Station Elevation Surveys
We regularly support Electricity North West with survey work across their operational estate. Most recently, this has included sub-station elevation surveys at three key sites.
Our scope focused on capturing existing conditions in high detail—including finished surfaces, structural steelwork and installed M&E equipment. As part of their maintenance and repair planning, the client required precise elevation data within the compound, right down to mechanical fixings and small-scale components integrated into the frames.
This level of specification demanded technical precision and a methodical approach on site. Our teams applied advanced measurement techniques to ensure every detail was captured—enabling informed decisions around operational planning and asset condition.
The final deliverables included high-definition 2D image sets and accurately referenced elevation drawings. These now provide ENW with a measurable baseline for maintenance activity—reducing uncertainty and improving operational certainty across each compound.
