Thomas Wolsey School, Ipswich

As part of a full redevelopment, we were delighted to be asked to be part of the project team helping to transform this playground area for children aged 3-16 with physical, medical or sensory needs and associated learning difficulties.

Essex Shed Network

We provided a topographical survey for a community project in Basildon between Essex Shed Network and Heart of Pitsea. The Essex Shed Network delivers support for anyone wishing to set up a Men’s Shed or Shed Inside project. This offers space for men to enjoy friendship and craft working.

Around a dozen members of the Survey Solutions team went ‘tache to tache’ against one of our equipment suppliers to see who could grow the best moustache and raise the most money in aid of Movember. A total of over £4,000 was raised across the two organisations.

Suffolk Show

One of the highlights of the local calendar, we provide topographical and setting out services for the annual Suffolk Show. The data is used to map out the positions for stand attractions.

New Foodbank

We were more than happy to provide a topographical survey for a recent new foodbank scheme in Ipswich supporting adults and children across Suffolk with food, furniture and household items.

Rubik’s Cube

Local inventor Tony Fisher invited us to verify a project with a twist when he developed the world’s largest usable Rubik’s Cube. Survey Solutions provided the dimensions which was verified as a Guinness World Record. The cube took over 300 hours to build!

Rugby Team

We are proud to be long-standing sponsors of Mersea Island RFC, a grass roots rugby club which one of our Directors has been involved with for 25 years as a player, captain, chairman and now coach. Our latest shirt sponsorship supports the U15s squad.

Christmas Jumper Day

Always a bit of fun for our offices during December when we host our annual Christmas Jumper Day raising money for Save The Children.

Class of Your Own

We were invited to support three Cambridge-based events where some of our surveying team, along with other building professionals worked with students in schools across Cambridgeshire to showcase the wide range of career opportunities within the construction industry. Students were able to hear more on the benefits of the surveying industry as well as try out some of the latest survey technology.
