Providing a comprehensive range of measured building survey services ensures we can select the right approach for each individual project – and to achieve the data you need.

Whether it’s floor plans, sections, structural details or elevations, we survey each element of the property, either independently or as part of a fully-connected co-ordinated brief. Where appropriate, building surveys can also be carried out in conjunction with topographical or underground surveys.

Recently we have seen an increase in requests for surveying flat roof structures constructed from Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) planks, primarily at a number of hospitals across the UK as well as schemes in other sectors.

Across our measured building surveys, we use the latest survey technology including drones where we need to capture large amounts of data, with minimal interference and often in inaccessible places. We also use 3D laser scanning to deliver high definition output quickly and accurately including point clouds and Revit models. 3D photographic records using state-of-the-art imaging are also available to complement technical drawings and data.

Building Surveying Services

Fully-connected measured floor plans available as standalone drawings or as part of a broader project including the structure and surrounding areas.

Accurate, detailed and fully-measured internal and external elevations of building and structures showing architectural details, construction materials, dimensions, and levels.

Cut-through profiles and views across the building or structure providing additional detail and information to a project.

High definition and fast survey solution capturing large volumes of 3D data. Delivers point cloud, Revit, and BIM models. Ideal for heritage and historic projects as well as highways and tunnelling schemes.

Survey Solutions continues to support projects across the UK where the identification and ongoing surveys of RAAC planks is required.

Accurate structural details of key elements in building and structures. Available as a specific investigation or as part of an integrated measured building project. Mapping and positions of details such as rebar, reinforcement mesh and steel work.

An increasingly important tool for collecting large amounts of data quickly, cost-effectively and with minimal disruption, often in inaccessible locations.

The perfect add-on to the suite of technical drawings and data you receive as part of your measured building survey. High definition visual representation enabling you to bring a project to life.

High precision and accurate plans helping provide Gross External Area (GEA), Gross Internal Area (GIA) and Net Internal Area (NIA) calculations used for leasing agreements or as-built surveys.

Facade surveys are a crucial aspect of building maintenance and management helping ensure the safety, stability, thermal performance, and aesthetic appeal of a building’s exterior.
