JETTING, CLEANSING & ROOT CUTTING July 2010
We have taken delivery of the first of our new long wheel based vans which is fully equipped with not only all the latest CCTV cameras for drainage surveys but also a high pressure jetting unit. This is capable of unblocking and clearing sewers as well as pre-cleansing pipes and can even cut through tree roots.

‘NOVICE’ GOLF DAY 2010 June 2010
Survey Solutions hosted a successful golf day for ‘novice’ players. The event was mainly aimed at our Clients that wouldn’t normally go to a traditional golf day for fear of embarrassment – no such worries at our event! Some of the prize winners were; Gary Coxall (best novice player), Rik Maill (best experienced player) Graham Watts (longest drive), Craig Rought (straightest drive). CHARITY BIKE RIDE June 2010
Eleven members of Survey Solutions entered this year’s Lions Club Suffolk Villages Charity Bike Ride. The ride was 75km around several villages with plenty of pubs – handy as it was one of the hottest days of the year! Pictured are Robin Hynd (left) and Greg Norman.
 
 
CHARITY FUN RUN May 2010
We again provided sponsorship and technical support to the annual Alton Water 10k Charity Run. But this time we also entered a team captained by Julie Turner from our accounts department (2nd from left) who completed it in 00:57:50 – Well Done Julie! GROWING IPSWICH TEAM January 2010
We are delighted to welcome Ben Craigie who has joined our Ipswich team as a surveyor. Ben brings a wealth of experience and knowledge helping us to grow and expand the company. In addition we have invested in new survey instruments to further support our growth and future plans.
 
 
CHRISTMAS 2009 December 2009
Our card this year shows the road sign for the small Hertfordshire village of Cold Christmas which not only has an unusually festive name but interestingly for map makers, lies directly on the Greenwich Meridian Line (zero degrees Longitude).

INSTITUTION TALK 18 November 2009
James Cooper, Managing Director of Survey Solutions, gave a presentation on the latest surveying equipment and techniques used in Land, Building and Underground surveying to members of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

GREG BAIRD 16 June 2008
Greg Baird has joined our Nottingham office as part of the Underground Survey team. Greg is an experienced utilities surveyor who has specialised in CCTV drainage surveys. He will help to grow and develop our existing utilities and CCTV capabilities throughout the country.
 
 
NEW NOTTINGHAM OFFICE 1 June 2008
Due to our continued success we have expanded to open an additional office in Nottingham. The office is in the very attractive grounds of Strelley Hall on the edge of the city in easy reach of the M1. JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS 19 April 2008
Survey Solutions sponsored Mersea Island Judo Club Championships, run by Dave Bredin (Director at Survey Solutions) 2nd Dan Black Belt and his wife Kate a 3rd Dan Black Belt. The club which is run by volunteers has 70 members, with 20 on the waiting list. Over the years the club has produced 15 national champions and has 5 national champions with the club at the moment.

PAUL RHODES 7 April 2008
Paul Rhodes has joined to become part of our survey team based in the Ipswich office. Paul has been surveying in East Anglia since obtaining a degree in Surveying at Newcastle University in 2001.
 
 
RUGBY SUCCESS! 29 March 2008

The team captain Dave Bredin, who is also a Director of Survey Solutions, led the team to become Champions of London North-East division 4 and promotion up to division 3. 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY 15 – 16 March 2008
We celebrated 10 years of Survey Solutions by hiring out the Windmill Hotel in Coventry and getting all the staff, along with their other halves, to a knee’s up. The weekend including a golf competition, spa facilities, quiz, prizes and plenty of food and even more drink!
 
 
Robin Hynd 28 January 2008
Robin Hynd (pictured on the right with Phil Reeder) has relocated from Scotland to take up the role of Senior Surveyor based at our South West office in Yeovil. Robin has been part of Survey Solutions since 1999 and brings a great deal of experience and knowledge with him to help support the growing workload in this busy region.
